René Magritte was a world-famous Belgium surrealistic painter. His most famous work is undoubtedly ‘La Trahison des images’ or ‘The Treachery of Images’ with the painted text ‘Ceci n’est pas une pipe’ (this is not a pipe) below the realistic image of a pipe.
