Klaas Gubbels says about his Miffy statue: ‘I like to cooperate in this project for Dick Bruna. A similarity between my work and Dick Bruna’s work, is that we both make two-dimensional drawings. My Miffy is called Canto Ostinato and is inspired by a painting of me with the same title.’
