« Le défi de cette peinture est de capturer l’éléphant avec une forme qui, autant que possible – plus qu’une simple décoration – porte également une signification intrinsèque. L’éléphant est serré dans ses bras par un homme pour le protéger, mais aussi en signe de l’amour.
