About Dadara

Dadara is the artist name of Daniël (Piotr) Rozenberg (Łódź, February 8, 1969).

He made his name designing brochures, record and CD covers, making paintings, totem poles, cartoons, installations and performances. He first became better known with Greyman, Statue of No Liberty (gray man, un-statue of liberty), a 9-meter high statue that was erected in 1999 on Museumplein near the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Since then he has undertaken several major projects.

Since 2010, Dadara has acted as director of the Exchanghibition Bank, the name refers to (English) words for (stock) exchange, exhibition and (commercial) bank. This is not a real bank, things are done that have to do with money, for example editing existing banknotes.
